Well!, What an amazing club meeting we just had tonight!. In celebrating Youth Month, we invited our past and current Rotary Youth Exchange Students to our Zoom meeting along with some of their parents. We had sons and daughters from Australia (currently in France and Denmark), France, Brazil, Belgium and Denmark past RYE students join us. How wonderful it was. And it's something we wouldn't have thought to do so easily in pre-pandemic days
The Mums shared as wonderful as the experience is, it can be hard having sons and daughters so far away. We chatted to the students about the current challenges and the differences in their countries. An amazing amount of resilience in the room, parents and students alike. This is what is so awesome about #Rotary.
